We want to take you on a  Learning Odyssey where you will acquire the skills to carefully navigate through the sea of available web 2.0 tools. You will learn how to resist the seemingly irresistible allure of web 2.0 tools and how to strategically plan to use the tools as a means to achieve the required learning outcomes in your educational context. Our Learning Odyssey will focus on the creation of activities that stimulate the acquisition of the key pillars of the 21st century teaching and learning.

Arjana Blazic is a teacher of English and German at IX. gimnazija, a high school in Zagreb, Croatia. She co-ordinates the Samsung Smart School program at her school. She is a Microsoft Innovative Educator and  Teacher Trainer and Intel Master Teacher. She is an avid user of web 2.0 technologies and a lifelong learner with a strong passion for travel. Arjana is the author of the award-winning wiki Greetings from the world, which connects teachers and students from across six continents. She is a co-founder of  the portal Moja matura, which enables secondary students from all over Croatia to access free interactive exam preparation materials for their standardized school-leaving exams. Arjana speaks at conferences, hosts teachmeets and leads workshops. Arjana blogs in English and in Croatian. Her Twitter handle is @abfromz.

Bart Verswijvel is a Pedagogical Advisor at the Future Classroom Lab, European Schoolnet in Brussels, Belgium. He is involved in several EUN projects like the Future Classroom Lab, iTEC and Living Schools Lab. He is especially interested in the integration of ICT in education and in project work. He is a free lance speaker and a leader of workshops. Bart was a prize winner in several competitions like eTwinning Awards and Microsoft Innovative Teachers.
