Gapfillers is an award-winning Elearning site for advanced learners of English. Berni will talk about the rationale behind setting up the site, talk about the community on Gapfillers and take you on a tour of some of the main features..

Berni Wall runs RLI a small language school offering one to one training and short total immersion English language courses in the UK for individuals and groups of up to 4 students. She also runs Gapfillers a site for advanced English language learners who want to study online. She co-moderates and co-ordinates the blog summaries for #edchat and is co-founder and moderator of #eltchat. Berni is on the organising team for the Virtual Round Table.

Her blog Radical Language gives tips and advice to English language students to help them with their study (especially those who are trying to learn by themselves) and also hosts the edchat summaries.

Berni lives and works in North Yorkshire in the middle of the countryside where she hosts and teaches students and also runs free teacher Professional Development Workshops.@rliberni on Twitter and Bern DarkRose in Second Life. Proud mother of 4 gorgeous daughters
