The 12th Virtual Round Table WebCon for language educators, 15-17 April 2021 on educational technology tools for teacher by teachers.

Since 2009 the VIRTUAL ROUND TABLE web conference is a web conference dedicated to language learning technologies. It is aimed at educators and language teaching professionals in language schools, institutes or other language related organisations. Many appreciative comments from past conferences testify that the conference demonstrates well our efforts to provide “innovative, inspiring and sociable teacher training” for language teaching professionals around the globe. It is a community event and teachers freely share their best practice and their expertise.

This year's conference includes a host of edtech tools aimed at helping teachers to teach online. Keynotes about best practice, tools and blended learning are complemented by sessions focused on 'How to use...'  tools like Kahoot!, Educandy, Wakelet, Canvas, Diigo, Triptico, Jamboard, Canva, Mondly and many more. There are a number of starter workshops like 'Getting started in Minecraft', How to start in OpenSim, How to use images and How to build interaction in Zoom.

The Virtual Round Table is a community event and language teachers freely share their best practice and their expertise. Over a period of three days 35 presenters offer presentations and workshops on digital tools aimed at helping teachers to teach online. Keynotes about best practice, tools and blended learning are complemented by sessions focused on 'How to use...'  tools like Kahoot!, Educandy, Wakelet, Canvas, Diigo, Triptico, Jamboard, Canva, Mondly and many more.
