María Jesús García San Martín: Challenging Future e-Teachers to blog e-projects

This presentation will show you a University experience with 30 future Primary teachers from Spain currently doing a Master’s Degree for The Use of ICT and Digital Resources in Primary Bilingual Education in which they are challenged to design an e-project where collaborative blogging is the main focus. Their final blogging e-projects, under construction at the moment, are officially introduced into larger collaborative educational initiatives nation and worldwide along May and June 2014.
ESL Teacher for over 20 years and ICT Lover, I am currently working as a teacher trainer for online courses at the Ministry of Education in Madrid, Spain and teaching the Master’s Degree for The Use of ICT and Digital Resources in Primary Bilingual Education at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
Author of the blog entitled Stop and Learn English, I have coordinated the MALTED project run by INTEF for the developing of multimedia learning materials in English, French and Spanish, managed the Blog for ICT and Foreign Languages, founded by INTEF and podcasted for Educacontic and The Network for Spanish Best Educational Practices. I have been one of the community managers for Internet en el Aula, and at the moment I also play that role in educational networks such as Cero en conducta and Odite. Regular collaborator with Espiral, I have been awarded by their golden spinning top for best teaching blog in 2012. I have been awarded with the best teacher of the month in May 2012 by Inverycrea and the magazine Education 3.0 has recently appointed me as best ICT teaching user.
