Evrim Uysal: Helping Learners Overcome Oral Assessment Phobia  

Oral assessment and how to prepare for it has always been a challenging issue both for educators & learners. The session will mainly focus on ways to help learners build more effective strategies to prepare for tasks which require oral performance. EdTech tools integrated into the strategy training cycle and sample tasks will be shared with the participants.

Evrim Uysal, MA in ELT, currently teaches at School of Languages (SL), Sabancı University, İstanbul Turkey. She is also actively involved in institutional course management system maintenance, content production & professional development training as part of her Online Learning Support Project Team work in SL. Her interests are educational technology, sociolinguistics, helping learners to build confidence and academic writing.
