AI Tools for Language Teachers – Nik Peachey

Since the emergence of ChatGPT in November 2022 there has been a huge shift towards the production of apps and tools powered by AI and large language models. These tools offer teachers and students a confusing range of options and opportunities and educators are faced with complex decisions around how, when and whether to implement this technology.
In this session I will demonstrate a few of the most useful tools I’ve tried and will try to help you formulate strategies and approaches for how to identify, select and apply these tools in your classroom.

He has been involved in Education since 1990 and has more than 25 years experience of working specifically with educational technology, online and blended learning environments for English language teaching.
He has worked all over the world training teachers and developing innovative and creative products and is a two-time British Council Innovations award winner.
