Amany Alkhayat has over 20 years of experience in education and instructional technology, and is passionate about empowering learners and educators with immersive and interactive solutions. Amany is currently an Adjunct Faculty at New York Institute of Technology, where she teaches courses on virtual, augmented, and virtual reality. She is also a VR Consultant at Global XR Academy, where she designs and delivers online courses and workshops on VR world building and advanced Unity. Additionally, she is an AI and Avatar Creation Consultant at VEDX Solutions Inc, where she helps create realistic and engaging digital characters for various applications and industries. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Instructional Technology and Media at Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from The American University in Cairo. She has multiple certifications in data science, Python, gamification, and conversation design. Her core competencies include VR development, AI integration, avatar creation, course design, conversation design, and gamification. She is always eager to learn new skills, explore new technologies, and collaborate with diverse and innovative teams. Her mission is to enhance the quality and accessibility of education with VR and AI, and to inspire the next generation of immersive and interactive creators.
