Moving Stories – Narrative and the Moving Image

Kieran Donaghy is a teacher, trainer, and award-winning writer. He currently teaches and trains at UAB Languages, Autonomous University of Barcelona. Magdalena Wasilewska – a graduate of Warsaw University – Teacher Training College and American Studies Center. Magdalena Brzezinska is a graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. She is an EFL teacher with over 20 years of experience, a teacher trainer with over 10 years ofexperience, an international conference speaker, and a sworn translator and interpreter. She taught Practical English andSociolinguistics to English Philology students at the University of Warmia and Masuria, Poland. At present, she teaches General and Business English to students of the WSB University in Poznan, Poland. She enjoys regular and online PBL, and she believes in the value of visual arts in language education. She is a member of FILTA and Membership Officer for the international Visual Arts Circle. Rob Howard is the owner of Online Language Center, partner at Business Language Training Institute and founder of EFLtalks. He is a speaker worldwide on Teacher Development, Continuing Professional Development, Student Retention and Image Presentation. He is Joint Coordinator of the IATEFL BESIG Online Team, Online and Video Coordinator and Video Interviewer for the Visual Arts Circle, President of the BRAZ-TESOL BESIG as well as co-founder with Dorothy Zemach of the Independent Authors & Publishers Group. He has authored and coauthored several books for EFL. He was nominated for the 2016 British Council’s ELTon Award for Innovation in Teacher Development.
